Obesity is the number one health challenge facing America today.Everywhere you look, children, middle aged folks and senior citizens are overweight. Why?Sure, we can blame the food industry, the grocery stores and the restaurants that blanket the countryside, but in the end, what goes into everyone's mouth is their own decision.Every day millions of people in this country stuff themselves with fried foods, sweets and just ordinary crap. And then they wonder why they have to keep buying bigger clothes, have high blood pressure and cholesterol readings that are off the charts.
Most of these people don't know that they are slowly killing themselves or at the least significantly shortening their lives not to mention creating difficult and challenging lifestyles all in the name ofI'm hungry.Diets don't work! Sure the diet industry would have all of us believe that they are the only way to lose weight, but they are wrong. Diet pills don't work. Sure you might shed a few pounds, but what happens when you run out of pills?It's really quite simple. Fat people take in more food than they burn off. So to lose weight you either need to eat less or better or exercise more. How about both? What a novel idea!Losing weight is really a simple process - it's not easy, but it is simple.
We do spend millions of dollars a year on diet fads, organic foods, health clubs and diet pills and yet most people, my guess 80%of the American population, are still fat. There's no kind way to say this folks so don't get offended. If you have trouble getting out of bed each morning could it be because you are just TOO FAT?If you have back pain that prevents you from enjoying life, maybe it's because you are just TOO FAT.If you have aching joints, maybe it's because you are just TOO FAT.
